It has been quite an interesting week here at the Movers.com office. Some of us (myself excluded, thankfully), had to deal with some colds and other illnesses. While our colleagues were home taking care of their health, the rest of us continued working on our various projects. Although it had been pretty quiet around here, we did have some excitement yesterday - the rest of the office threw me a surprise birthday celebration! I wish my ailing colleagues could have joined in, but it was still a great time.
Fortunately, everyone was healthy and back in the office today. GV, our generous CEO, decided to buy everyone pizza for lunch. I’d like to give a special thanks to Kanthi for ordering a delicious selection of pizzas, which included everything from standards like plain and pepperoni, to the more unusual toppings of grilled chicken, pineapple, and portabello mushrooms.
As if a pizza feast wasn’t enough reason to celebrate, we also got a brand new video camera. While we’ve already made some great videos, we look forward to making even better ones with the new equipment. We also got a teleprompter, so Sean and Rebecca (who will be making her video debut pretty soon) won’t have to exhaust their brains trying to remember the scripts.
As you can see, it has certainly been an eventful week here. Hopefully everyone will have a great-and healthy-weekend!
